About Run The Board
Run The Board is an OR scheduling board for anesthesia teams. It handles room assignments, break coverage, and relief, so the whole department works from one live board instead of whiteboards and paper sign-in sheets.

I'm a full-time anesthesiologist. I trained in anesthesiology at the University of Washington, where I also completed a fellowship in regional anesthesia, after earning my MD at Duke and my BS at UCLA. Before medicine, I worked as an EMT with UCLA EMS, where I first saw how hard it is to deliver care when conditions change minute to minute.
The OR is the same problem at a larger scale. Much of a busy day goes to paper sign-in sheets, whiteboards, and remembering who is staying late and who is leaving. Run The Board puts all of it on one live board, so anesthesia teams can give their time to what matters most: their patients.
