Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Run The Board (the "Service"), an operating-room scheduling and staffing board for anesthesia teams, available at runtheboard.net and app.runtheboard.net. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Run The Board helps anesthesia departments manage daily room assignments, staff breaks, and relief coverage. Access is provided per organization: your organization's administrator creates accounts and assigns roles that determine what each user can view or edit.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify your organization's administrator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of your organization's policies.
- Enter patient names, medical record numbers, or other protected health information — the Service is a staff scheduling tool and is not designed to store patient records.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other organizations' data, or the underlying infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by circumventing rate limits or security measures.
Your organization's data
Scheduling data entered into the Service belongs to your organization. We access it only to operate, secure, and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Not medical advice
The Service organizes staffing information entered by your organization. It does not provide medical advice, clinical decision support, or patient care recommendations, and it is not a medical device. Staffing decisions remain the responsibility of your organization and its clinicians.
Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Your organization should maintain appropriate fallback procedures (such as a whiteboard or printed schedule) for critical operations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Run The Board will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your organization paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
Your organization may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms. Upon termination of an organization's tenancy, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
